Job Description

The role will play an important part in facilitating an uplift in technical excellence across the team including adoption of Dev Ops and Automated Testing tools. The candidate must demonstrate proven competence in software development and coaching experience.

  • Ensure successful management and delivery of Technology Projects/enhancements/releases
  • Provide leadership for regional project management function by managing, coordinating, and developing staff, third party project managers, vendors, business units representatives and internal IT team
  • Implementation of specified capabilities using the agile framework
  • Drive adoption and roll-out of Agile and modern software design and engineering practices such as test driven development, continuous integration and release automation (CI/RA), and automated testing
  • Lead project / scrum team in design methods and principles, and collaboration discussion between IT and business teams
  • The ScrumMaster is a "servant leader", helping the Dev Team and PO use Scrum to achieve the best possible for the product delivery
  • The ScrumMaster owns the “3 P’s”:
    • Process Coach – to maintain the best practices
    • Problem Solver – to ensure/improve the velocity by removing blocks
    • Protector – to get team focus on the delivery
  • Work with PO closely in Sprint/Release planning to prioritize and ship minimum viable product (MVP) constantly through multiple releases (instead of big bang roll-out)
  • Enable Dev team to be “self-organization” and “learning organization” through Retrospective
  • Ensure that the risks, issues, costs and schedules are appropriately managed following agile principles. Also that progress is tracked and communicated to internal and external stakeholders using visual management techniques
  • Atlassian suite of products such as JIRA, Confluence will be adopted as a standard for issue and risk management, and the management of product backlog and inventory. The role holder will be responsible for rollout of this tool to the team
  • Helping teams plan, execute, review, and retrospect the iterations
  • Coaching new Scrum Masters and Product Owners in their roles
  • Initiating and supporting Agile technical and Built-in Quality practices
  • Helping teams establish the infrastructure, DevOps practices, and culture needed for the continuous delivery pipeline
  • Working with PO closely to build and maintain the Vision and Roadmap
  • Defining and managing the program Kanban and Program Backlog
  • Supporting frequent system-level integration, including the System Demo Participating in the Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner (PO), and ART Sync meetings
  • Fostering the System Team, Agile teams, and others in building a DevOps culture and implementing a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with the appropriate level of automation
  • Maintaining a focus on the Architectural Runway Supporting Release Management in the new way of working Supporting or delivering additional training

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) 
  • Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) will be plus
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Consultant or a PM manages a Agile project
  • At least 10 years of experience in System or Software engineering with a strong hands-on background in software development. You have designed, programmed and tested software and/or systems and applied several techniques, methods and tools
  • Have been involved in agile teams for more than 5 years, preferably on different roles and you have practiced methods such as Scrum or KanBan
  • Have a solution attitude and give hands-on support where needed
  • Strong in analysis and communication
  • Capable of convincing management, developers and users from the business side towards the new situation
  • Have good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
